HUIZE ZONNEWIJZER

Micky Hoogendijk's terugkeer naar Amsterdam markeert een belangrijk moment, waarbij ze Huize Zonnewijzer transformeert tot "The Ones at Home", een samensmelting van kunst en natuur in een historische setting. Deze stedelijke villa, gebouwd in 1919 in de kenmerkende Amsterdamse School-stijl, ademt geschiedenis en architectonische betekenis.

Ooit het huis van onderwijzer Christiaan Pieter Gunning, evolueert het nu onder Hoogendijks visie tot een eigentijdse kunstsalon, aangevuld met de botanische creaties van tuinontwerper Erwin Stam.

De integratie van Hoogendijks bronzen sculpturen, in het bijzonder haar serie “The Ones”, met het tuinontwerp van Stam creëert een meeslepende omgeving. Het middelpunt, “The Ones XI”, 4,10 meter hoog, staat prominent in de binnenplaats en nodigt bezoekers uit om zich te verbinden met de abstracte vormen en de thema’s van menselijke verbondenheid en eenheid te verkennen. Deze samenwerking is erop gericht om introspectie en emotionele resonantie op te roepen, en biedt een serene ontsnapping aan de stedelijke drukte van Amsterdam.

Deze onderneming eert niet alleen het architecturale erfgoed van Huize Zonnewijzer, maar viert ook Hoogendijks artistieke evolutie en haar toewijding om ruimtes te creëren die emotioneel en spiritueel resoneerden. Terwijl "The Ones at Home" zich ontvouwt, belooft het een poëtische ode te zijn aan kunst, geschiedenis en de blijvende kracht van menselijke verbinding.
